The President of Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital is appointed by the Holy See by act of the Secretary of State. The current mandate will last three years.

The President – who summons and chairs the Board of Directors meetings – is the legal representative of the Hospital and defines its strategies with direct supervision on all areas.

All the Departments (Health Department, Scientific Department, Administration), the Functions coordinating specific additional cross-cutting support activities as well as the independent control functions, report directly to the President.
